Jeleel Ogundiran

Founder

My passion for working in the care sector began when I turned 18. During a personal crisis, I experienced a level of care that truly changed my life. The compassion, dignity, and support I received inspired me to one day provide that same life-changing care to others. However, I also experienced care that was, at times, detrimental. That contrast shaped my determination to be part of a positive change, because I understand firsthand the profound impact that both good and poor care can have on a person’s life. I am a caring and compassionate individual with a genuine desire to help others. Supporting people close to me who live with various health conditions has given me a strong personal foundation. From there, I have continued to build my knowledge and skills professionally, ensuring that the support we provide is not only heartfelt but also of the highest standard. Since COVID-19, there has been a significant rise in psychological distress, including symptoms of depression, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress. There have also been concerning increases in suicidal thoughts and behaviours. Many individuals are facing challenges that can feel overwhelming and isolating. We founded this company with a clear mission: to improve people’s lives during their most difficult times. Our goal is to provide high-quality supported living services that empower individuals to regain confidence, rebuild stability, and live as independently as possible. We are committed to delivering care that is respectful, person-centred, and transformative because everyone deserves support that uplifts rather than limits them.

Jeleel Ogundiran

Founder

I have been a Support Worker for three years, with appropriate care and support certificates and relevant training. I honestly feel that my chosen path suits my personality. I find pride and joy in my work, and I know that every day I leave my shift, I have made a human contribution to a person’s well-being, care, and support.I have been and am an active participant in our ongoing journey of continuous improvement, and in achieving the goals and objectives of Optimum Global Care. My employment with Optimum Global Care has also given me a healthy balance of work and life to aid in my mental well-being and overall health.
